| Artist's Comments: | Seeing this painting makes me very emotional. I painted it for a fundraiser for a father of my student, who had cancer. The mother of another student bought it...I had met her in grade 8. Since then, both she and her husband have passed from cancer, just six months apart. This painting remains with her beautiful daughter. The good news is that the man who the fundraiser was for, is alive and well, and enjoying his life with his beautiful girls and wife. |
