| Artist's Comments: | My husband and I love Kauai. On the south shore these massive fig trees grow. You feel you could get lost in their roots. We were told that Steven Spielberg filmed some of the scenes for Jurassic Park in this area, and in one of the opening scenes, he put the dinosaur egg in the roots of one of these three giants. Hurricane Iniki hit during the filming of this movie and devastated much of Kauai. |
