Children of the World
| This series of 14 pastels was done in the mid 1990's when Romaine was an E.S.L. teacher in Nanaimo Elementary Schools and she wanted to promote multicultural respect. These artworks were published in a 1997 Calendar titled "Children of the World" and all proceeds from the 7000 sold went to benefit Children both in BC and abroad through World Vision. Prints of this series hang in almost every school in Nanaimo, in various offices and in many private collections. 10 of the 14 Originals are sold and 4 remain for sale as of Jan. 2011. |
